# Earning Rewards 

## Apply to Become a Referrer

1. Sign in to your Birdeye Data account: [https://bds.birdeye.so/auth/sign-in](https://bds.birdeye.so/auth/sign-in)
2. Navigate to the [**Referral**](https://birdeye.so/data-api/referral) page.
3. Review the Referral Program details and click **"Become a Referrer"**.
4. Complete and submit the referral application form.
5. Wait for your application to be reviewed.
6. If approved, your account will be upgraded to a Referrer account.

## Start Earning

From the **Referral Dashboard**, you can:

* Generate your referral code and referral link
* Share your referral code or referral link with your friends, communities, or audience
* Earn commissions when your referred users purchase eligible paid subscriptions
* Claim your available commissions once they become eligible

## Manage Your Referrals

Once approved, you'll gain access to your **Referral Dashboard**, where you can:

* View your Referrer tier
* Track your referrals and their status
* Monitor your commission earnings
* View claim and payout activities

### Understanding Your Referral Dashboard

The dashboard provides an overview of your referral performance and earnings.

## Claim Guide Eligibility

You can submit a claim when:

* Your **Claimable Commission** reaches the minimum payout threshold (**10 USDC** by default).
* The commission has completed the **30-day cooldown period**.
* The reward has passed all refund, dispute, and fraud verification checks.
* Your account is eligible to receive payouts.

### Wallet Address

#### Before submitting your **first claim**, you'll be asked to provide:

* Blockchain network
* Wallet address

After your wallet is saved:

* You can update your wallet information at any time **before submitting your next claim**.
* Once a claim has been submitted, the wallet address used for that payout is locked and cannot be changed until the payout has been completed.

### Claim Rules

* Claims can be submitted **once per month**.
* Your next eligible claim date will be displayed in your dashboard.
* Rewards remain **Claimable** until you submit a claim.

## Payout Schedule

* Payouts are processed on the **1st and 15th** of each month.
* Claimed commissions are automatically included in the next eligible payout batch.
* During payout processing, the commission status changes from **Claimed** to **Processing**.
* Once the payout transaction is confirmed, the commission status changes to **Paid**.

### Processing Fee

* A **0.1 USDC processing fee** is deducted from each payout request.

## Understanding your Claim Details tab:

View your complete claim and payout history, including:

* Claim date
* Claim amount
* Payout status
* Payout date
* Transaction ID (if available)

## Refunds & Fraud

If a referee's payment is refunded, disputed, or identified as fraudulent:

* Any commission that has **not yet been paid** may be adjusted, reduced, cancelled, or removed.
* If the commission has **already been paid**, the payout will not be clawed back. Instead, the equivalent amount will be deducted from your future commissions.

## What happens if I violate the Referral Program Terms?

If you engage in fraudulent activity, spam, abuse, or otherwise violate the Referral Program Terms & Conditions, Birdeye Data may suspend or terminate your Referrer status. Any pending or unpaid commissions may be withheld or forfeited, and you may no longer be eligible to participate in the Referral Program.
